Whether you are a new or a potential Editors Canada member, you will meet the Quebec branch executive and learn more about us.

Occasionally, invited editors or professionals in related fields will be on hand to share their experience, knowledge, tricks and tips in an informal atmosphere.

Callout for Trainers

Editors Québec is currently preparing its 2026–2027 professional development program with the goal of offering a range of training opportunities that are increasingly relevant, up-to-date, and diverse to its members.

Our objective is to offer activities that meet the needs of our entire community—whether they are experienced professionals looking to deepen their expertise, early-career professionals seeking to acquire new skills, or professionals who want to adapt to the many changes in our field.

We are therefore seeking trainers and experts from diverse backgrounds who wish to share their experience, knowledge, and best practices with editing professionals.

The topics listed below are intended as starting points for discussion. They are not exhaustive, and we would be happy to consider any other proposals that might be of interest to our members.

•    Web writing and digital content optimization

•    Editing data, tables, charts, and formulas

•    Essential editing checks: creating an effective checklist

•    Pitfalls of comparative editing

•    Editing Indigenous or intercultural texts

Networking Activities

We also want to develop networking activities that offer real added value to our members. If your proposal is better suited to an interactive format—such as a workshop, case study, roundtable, moderated discussion, demonstration, experience-sharing session, or problem-solving session—please feel free to submit it to us.

Our goal is to foster exchanges among members while providing them with useful concrete content that is directly applicable to their professional practice.
