UPCOMING ONLINE WEBINARS-2026

Thursday, May 28, 2026 – 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.: Finding Direct Clients with Sylvie Lemieux and Patrice Dussault

This presentation will explore how language professionals can better define their professional value and translate it into compelling arguments for clients using the SONCASE method. It will also show how to move from the role of simple service provider to that of strategic partner by leveraging a clear offer, a relationship of trust, and an approach centered on clients’ real needs.

Speaker

Sylvie Lemieux is a translator, reviser, and trainer. Holding a doctorate in interpretation as well as university training in translation and terminology, she is interested in the connections between semantics, cognition, and revision practice. She accompanies us in navigating the growing integration of translation assistance tools and artificial intelligence.

Speaker

Patrice Dussault is a translator, writer, and communications consultant. He built a thriving practice working with direct clients before repositioning his offer in response to market upheavals, particularly those driven by artificial intelligence. Today, he helps professionals clarify their positioning, structure an offer that sells, and develop a presence that attracts the right clients — without forcing it. Thanks to his approach, prospecting stops being a burden and becomes a coherent, controlled process aligned with the professional’s true value.
